Spent a few weeks in Guatemala with my brother back in March. After a quick trip to the Pacific for a little surfing, some birding, and some much needed hammock lounging and book reading, we traveled up to the northern highlands to climb Vulcán Tajumulco, the tallest mountain in Central America. Sea level and a humid 95 degrees to 4,420m and below freezing proved to be an interesting experience.
