Still catching up on posts... Got to spend a day in Rocky Mountain National Park with Ashley this past September to see the aspen change and to climb something high. A good day outside to say the least.

Ps: Thanks Ash for letting me use your napalm explosion aspen tree photos. Those are nuts! For the record, that's sunlight through leaves-- not a touch of color enhancement. Crazy

Eric Singleton squeezing in a quick send of Extra Crimpy Chicken (5.11d) before the storm. A day of climbing at the South Face with Joseph Yancey, a shoot with Eric, and hanging with the good folk that reside in Brevard-- can't think of a better way to close out the autumn climbing season than a weekend at the Glass.

This post is waaaaay overdue-- sorry Tom! I joined Tom Caldwell for a day at Whitesides back in May. Storms threatened all day but never materialized, allowing for a great day of climbing and shooting. Routes featured include Boulder Problem in the Sky (5.11-), Trick (5.10+) and One Pitch Wonder (5.10c).

Matt recommended we head down east to check out the Cutler Coast, and so glad we did. With the rugged cliffs, tucked away pebble beaches, and forests lush with ferns and moss, Cutler Coast was more reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest than any coastline I've seen in the East. Ashley and I enjoyed two days of backpacking and a quick trip to Lubec to enjoy lunch in the furthest eastern corner of the US.
*Ashley gets photo credits for a few of these.
